My name is Jack Kendall, and I live in the small town of Oakville in western Washington State.

I became interested in photography some years ago when my step father obtained an expensive digital camera. It was one of the first quality digital cameras to become available. After convincing him to let me borrow it a few times, I found I greatly enjoyed taking pictures and eventually bought my own.  The pictures on this site represent my progression through several cameras as I was able to upgrade my equipment.

I have a passion for travel, taking pictures wherever I happen to find a suitable image or environment. I use whatever techniques I have at my disposal to create an image I find visually appealing as well as a representation of what my eye sees when I first have the thought to capture it.

I enjoy photographing a wide variety of subjects, but as I love spending time out in nature, that is most often my subject. There are so many amazing scenes just waiting to be found!
